Dr. Pifer provides specialized psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, grief, managing chronic pain, and caregiving support. She also offers assessment for early detection of cognitive decline, as well as cognitive training to enhance and maintain cognitive function in older adults. Her approach is compassionate and tailored to each individual’s needs.

Dr. Pifer accepts Medicare and PPO Medicare Advantage plans. She also accepts private pay clients as an out-of-network provider. If you are unsure about your benefits, Dr. Pifer can answer any questions you have and work with your insurance provider.

Cognitive Clinic

When is forgetfulness “normal” or indicative of something more?

Dr. Pifer’s Cognitive Clinic provides brief neuropsychological assessment with same day feedback to help you better understand your cognitive strengths and challenges. Cognitive Clinic is designed to help you answer the question “is this normal aging or symptoms of dementia?”

Cognitive Training

Whether you are looking to sharpen your thinking abilities or manage age-related changes, our cognitive training program provides an individualized and supportive approach to cognitive training. Using the evidence-based CogSMART protocol, we will identify specific areas to target to enhance and maintain the thinking abilities most important to you. Offered in both group and individual sessions to enhance memory, attention, and problem solving skills.
